Reincarnation Calculator
Enter your birth date and meet the souls who might have handed off the baton.
How this works
Classical mode
We look at notable deaths on your exact birth date and year, then pick a few playful matches.
Tibetan mode
The bardo is an intermediate state between death and rebirth in Tibetan Buddhism. This mode scans the bardo window before rebirth to find playful matches.
How the calculations work (expanded)
Classical mode math
We fetch the Wikipedia "On this day" deaths list for your month and day, then filter to your birth year.
Tibetan mode math
Inspired by Tibetan Buddhist ideas about the bardo, we pick an anchor date (conception in the traditional Tibetan view, or birth if you choose), then count backward by the bardo window length (default 49 days). For every day in that window, we look up deaths on that exact date and year to build a playful set of candidates.
Layman's example
If you were born on February 1, 1990: classical mode checks deaths on Feb 1, 1990. Tibetan mode (traditional anchor) estimates conception about 38 weeks earlier, then scans the 49 days before that point and checks deaths on each of those exact dates.
This is non-scientific and non-authoritative; it is meant as a gentle, respectful toy. The \"conception\" label refers to rebirth consciousness in Tibetan tradition, not a claim about when life begins.
